Kaala Khatta from our Frida collection is a black Mul Mul cotton saree woven on handlooms and detailed with small scattered shisha (mirror) accents and playful pompom work across the body. The 120 thread count keeps it breathable and fluid, while the cutwork pallu adds handcrafted character. The mirrors catch light subtly, and the scattered pompoms add movement without heaviness.

Will the mirrors or pompoms fall off with regular wear?
Mirrors are hand-stitched and secured — normal wear is fine. Avoid snagging on sharp surfaces and handle gently during washing.

Is this heavy to wear because of the mirror work?
No — small mirrors on 120-count Mul Mul are very lightweight. The fabric stays airy and the mirrors add catch-light without adding weight.

Is it beginner-friendly?
The soft Mul Mul cotton weave makes it easy to drape.

Will natural dye bleed?
Slight colour release in initial washes is normal. Wash separately.

Is the blouse attached?
Yes — the blouse piece is attached at the inner end of the saree.
